Oh Jennie,
That character from the movie "Shop Girl" called,
he wants his awkwardness back.
*sigh*
Anyway, last night I got to sleep with my niece and nephew in my room. They were sleeping soundly by the time I retired to bed. At one point in the night, I had a dream that I was talking with someone (I don't know who) and then they looked over at Amelia and said, "Oh poor thing is having a bad dream." So I told the person I would take care of her. Then I woke up and she was whimpering in her sleep, so I rubbed her back, rearranged her blankets and she settled in comfortably again. Then Peterson piped up, "Mom told us that tonight we could sleep with you! Do you like perogies a lot, like me?" And after I said yes, he said, "Good" and went back to sleep.
SO cute. Anyway, that's all I wanted to talk about. For now.
Until next time, wiggle your butt at your brother....and then get pegged in the head with a snowball shortly after, I do.

I am the ground - Paulina.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today, I went skiing.
I'm not going to lie, I didn't really want to, but it was one of those things about which I thought, "Jennie, just go and you know you'll end up happy that you went." I'm so wise....and correct.
It was a good time. Sure, now it hurts to be in any position, and I have bruised cankles, but it was great fun.
Because I did not expect to go, I had to wear a hodge podge of winter clothing from around my house including a fair amount of neon. Also, I do not and have never like using poles while skiing, so needless to say, I may have been the most awkward looking skier up there...ok posing with my hands behind my back and pelvis forward while speeding down the hill added to my motif, but I mean, if you're going to be awkward, why not go all the way? Am I right, or am I right.
Anyway, I went with my Dad, a handle of his man friends from Church, and my sister Paulina. They occasionally had to stop and wait for me to come flailing down the hill, and later told me that they ought to call me the "Haleighluia Girl" because of how I would fling my arms up in such a matter on a whim. I told them it had nothing to do with lack of balance or the fact that I didn't always see a jump before I hit it.
Oh, don't be mistaken. I'm not a wretched skiier. Maybe I've only gone twice in about 5-7 years, but I can hold my own and almost kept up with all those ol' speed demons today.
Until next time, discover that the faster and more out of control you ski, the faster and louder you talk to yourself. I do.

Hooky
Well, I'm staying home from school today. Because
a) I woke up sick (though not bad enough to skip school, it's still going on the list)
b) We're just working on a project for which I have all the supplies at home here
c) I'll save time by not making the trek there to do what I could do here
d) I don't feel like getting dressed
c) We're allowed to skip 4 classes before being kicked out, and it's almost the end of the semester....and WHO wants perfect attendance? Losers. That's who.
Confession: When I was younger, I used to say, "I'm artistic, but I'm not creative...there's a difference. So I'm no good to you" when people wanted me to help them out with something that required creativity. I was just being lazy. Who knows, maybe there is a difference, but I think when you're not feeling creative, you lose motivation and then your artistic talents diminish because you just don't care.
Until next time, relish in the Boney M Christmas Album and all the versions of Santa Baby, and Baby It's Cold Outside that you can get your hands on. I do.

Happy Feelings!
Ok so I don't know really how to post videos, but heck, I've got 2 and a half more hours as a security guard so I'm going to figure it out, doggonit!
There's a longer better version of this one, but I couldn't find a quality one to post.
Until next time, love this video soooooo much for how happy it makes you (and enjoy the song too) I do.
Welcome to my Ool
Ok!! I've done it! And just look at how cute this page is with all those neat little polka dots. Is it possible that I'm a little too excited about this? Also, two of my siblings have thr same one? Ok so they haven't posted forEVER, they're there.
Also, I'm pretty excited about being able to post links to all my friends' blogs of different kinds. See? We CAN all be friends. Myspacers, livejournalers, and whoever else are all welcome to visit.
Do I have anything else to talk about other than this new blog? Probably. Can I think of anything right now? No.
Until next time, have a dream that you did an amazing Christopher Walkin impression, I do (did? crap)

Is this really something I want to do?
Ok, well it seems as though many of my friends (and now family!) have converted over to this blogging page, so maybe I should just cave in and join? I don't know. There have been many good years at livejournal, but there are things i quite like about this one. I suppose it's up to the public.
Until next time, get a little concerned about your torn feelings for a blog location, i do.
